EL RETO DEL LIBRO

Death_to_stock_photography_weekend_work (10 of 10)Desde que tenía once años, encontré en la lectura mi pasatiempo favorito. Las tardes con Harry estudiando en Hogwarts, con los hermanos Pevensie viviendo en el armario, con Frodo protegiendo el anillo y con Robert Langdon descifrando acertijos, se hicieron interminables. Luego vino Felipe el Hermoso gobernando Francia y Alejandro Magno conquistando el mundo.  Al mismo tiempo vinieron Kissinger, Waltz, Morgenthau, Nye, Sun Tzu, Marx, Wendt y Kaplan (entre los que recuerdo).

Sin embargo, fue hasta que descubrí la apologética que ese pasatiempo de lectura se convirtió también en pasión y en verdadero aprendizaje. La lectura no era solo entretenimiento o tarea, sino una búsqueda y encuentro de lo bueno, lo verdadero y lo hermoso. Esta búsqueda es algo que quiero incrementar en mi vida. La verdad es tan amplia y el mundo tan grande… Estoy convencido de que la mejor manera de seguir buscando es leyendo, viajando y escuchando.

Esta sección del Blog se convertirá en el reto personal de leer lo que siempre quise o siempre me dio pereza. Nunca dejar de leer, nunca dejar de aprender, nunca dejar de compartir.
